INFORMACIÓN DE REFERENCIA

Adverb placement:Adverb Placement In Spanish Placement Adverbs are used to describe the location of one thing compared to another.

- Al lado de… (next to)
- A la derecha/izquierda de… (on the right/left)
- Encima de… (on top of)
- Debajo de… (below)
- Entre … y … (between)
- En… (in, on)
- En frente de… (in front of)
- Delante de… (in front of)
- Detrás de… (behind)

Donde esta el bano?Estar Vs. Haber
When asking where things are, you can use either the verb ESTAR (to be) or HABER (there are). However, you can not use them interchangably. ESTAR is used when you are looking for a specific thing, such as THE HSBC bank, and requires the definite article (EL/LA/LOS/LAS).

For instance:
Estar + artículo definido”
¿Dónde está la cocina?
¿Dónde está el baño?

While HABER is employed when you are searching for a type of thing, such as A bank, and uses the indefinite article (UN/UNA/UNOS/UNAS)

For example:
Haber + artículo indefinido”
¿Dónde hay un florero?
¿Dónde hay una biblioteca?

Contractions:
There are two major contractions in Spanish below which are ALWAYS made when the two words are placed together. See below:

- A + EL = AL
- DE + EL = DEL

Possessive Pronouns:
Class 26 also reviews Possessive Pronouns. You can look over them more thoroughly here: http://blog.buenoentonces.com/2010/12/study-guide-for-class-6/#info
