I have a question about demonstrative pronouns. For the masculine plurals, I understand that one should use estos and esos before masculine plural nouns. When one doesn’t state the actual noun, does that change to éstes and éses as your chart indicates?
Thanks.
Hola Adina,
Thanks for writing! In fact it’s the other way around, for masculine plural nouns use: éstes (these) and éses (those). If the noun is not stated and the gender is unknown, use the neutral form: estos (these) and esos (those).
Hi, I noticed in the lesson, it is said “estos zapatos”, not “estes zapatos”, why? here the noun “zapatos” is stated. shouldn’t it be “estes” ?
